INTIMACY COORDINATOR
Anna's career in front and behind the camera naturally led her on to her next step as an Intimacy Coordinator. She has recently trained with IDC to establish consent-forward practices for actors and continues to expand her work on set, as well as being a faculty member for the New York Meisner acting school, Maggie Flanigan Studios where she teaches workshops and is on hand as an IC for student scene work and plays.
Anna is passionate about this new role as an advocate for actors to create a safe and healthy work environment on set and on the stage. Coming from a production background she understands the world of production and the individual roles on set, and as an actor, she understands how intimate scenes can often feel intimidating and vulnerable for a performer.
Anna strives to enable the directors vision, collaborate with the actor(s) artistic impulses for the character, whilst establishing the boundaries of a performer in a safe relaxed environment.
Anna continues to enjoy working both in front and behind the camera.
